Want to share with you. And this is as much for me as anyone but I felt led to share it with everyone because someone else may need it. I needed the Lord to speak to me today in a mighty way. Been in prayer about several things and I just needed to hear from Him. And I am so glad that the Lord knows what you need and when you need it. He is amazing!
He led me to 2 Corinthians 4:7-18; I encourage you to read the entire passage in the NKJV and the Message. I want to share a part of it with you from the Message starting in verse 13….
“We’re not keeping this quiet, not on your life. Just like the psalmist who wrote, I believed it, so I said it, we say what we believe. And what we believe is that the One who raised up Jesus will just as certainly raise us up with you, alive! Every detail works to your advantage and to God’s glory; more and more grace, more and more people, more and more praise. So, we’re not giving up! How could we? Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without His unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us! There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever!” AMEN!
Every struggle, every heartache of this will life will pale in comparison to the glory of eternal life with Jesus Christ. When I stand face to face with Jesus I will be able to say it was worth it all! To be able to join in with all of heaven and sing Holy Holy Holy for eternity! I endure not for the promises of this life BUT for the promise of the next life! It will be worth it all! Do not lose heart! The battle has already been won; paid for with the blood of Jesus Christ! Praise His name forever!
I don’t know about you but I am not waiting, I am going to start right now with every breath I have!
