John 16:33 Jesus is telling us to take heart because He has overcome the world. That is a powerful statement!
Jesus is telling us not to be discouraged when battles rage against us, when things don’t seem to go our way…..because He has already conquered everything we will face in life. That is awesome! We shouldn’t even fear death because Jesus conquered it! And if we are in Jesus even though our physical body will die, death will not keep our spirit!
We will rise to meet Jesus and be like Him! So when those days come when we feel like what is the point, I am ready to give up…..remember the words of Jesus….Do no let your heart be troubled…..for I have overcome the world!
And when we stand face to face with Jesus it will be worth it all because we will also be overcomers!
