When Jesus came into Jerusalem He foretold them about the destruction by the Romans in 70 A.D., and he told them it was all because they did not know the time of their visitation.
Luke 19:43-44
“43 For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side, 44 and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.” NKJV
I like the way the message ends that verse.Luke 19:44
“All this because you didn’t recognize and welcome God’s personal visit.” (from THE MESSAGE)
I want to urge us not to miss the opportunity God gives to us. We have the choice. Choose to welcome God into our lives and be obedient to Him. Don’t miss Him! Blessings or consequences await your choice.
