I read an awesome quote from Francis Chan yesterday. He said, “What would church look like if we stop taking control of it and let the Holy Spirit lead it?” A very true statement! And that is what we are praying for now as a church; that the Holy Spirit would lead us! Our hearts, our lives, our ministries and our church are open to the move of God.
It isn’t about us or what we do….who are we? We are nothing without God. It is God who moves, it is God who changes lives, it is God who heals and it is God who saves. We just want to be led by Him and used by Him for His glory, not ours. I love the Kari Jobe song “Holy Spirt” the chorus of that song has become my prayer, the cry of my heart……Holy Spirit, you are welcome here, come flood this place and fill the atmosphere. Your glory, God, is what our hearts long for; to be overcome by your presence Lord!
