As we celebrate this Holy Week let’s learn some valuable lessons from Jesus. First, don’t get to high when people praise you or to low when they criticize with you. Remember Jesus? They praised Him and hailed him as a King and less than a week later they were calling for his Crucifixion.
You can’t let what other people say distract you from what God has called you to do whether in praise or criticism. Set you attention on the Lord and be obedient to Him. Not everyone who praises us is our friend and not everyone who criticizes is our enemy.
